Welcome to the Silence Franciscan!
Hi, I’m Jason Boyd. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I’m a postulant with the Holy Order in the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi and a full-time resident seminarian. Currently, I’m in my second year at the University of the South, School of Theology, immersing myself in a journey of faith, learning, and spiritual growth.
Silence Franciscan is my journal—a space where I invite you to join me in exploring theological reflections through the lens of a deaf perspective. Together, we’ll walk with God, uncovering insights and finding meaning in faith, silence, and life’s sacred moments.
I’m also working on a new book, which is a deeply personal project reflecting my spiritual growth. My hope is that it will provide encouragement and inspiration as you seek your own connection with God.
If you’d like to support my journey, subscribing to this blog is a wonderful way to help. Whether you choose a free subscription or a paid one, your generosity helps cover essential expenses such as my semester costs, clinical pastoral education for Summer 2025, and an incredible multicultural mission trip in 2026.
Thank you for visiting Silence Franciscan. I look forward to walking this sacred journey with you.
